Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks, including scenario planning and risk mitigation models
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing innovations
- Present compelling strategic narratives to stakeholders through executive briefings and thought leadership publications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Drive cultural adoption of future-focused methodologies across the organization
- Author annual '2026 Vision' reports and thought leadership content
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic thinking frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning software)
