Responsibilities
- Database Optimization: Design, develop, and fine-tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of database schemas, ensuring normalization, integrity, and efficiency.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance using tools like Query Analyzer and Execution Plans to identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations.
- Data Migration: Spearhead ETL processes and data migration projects, ensuring data integrity across various systems.
- Collaboration: Partner with data analysts and software engineers to integrate database solutions with application layers.
- Security Compliance: Enforce database security policies and ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or Database Administrator.
- T-SQL / PL-SQL: Proficiency in writing complex T-SQL or PL-SQL queries, including CTEs, Window Functions, and dynamic SQL.
- Database Systems: Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure SQL Data Warehouse).
- ETL Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools such as SSIS, Airflow, or Informatica.
