Responsibilities
- Architect & Design: Design, develop, and maintain robust database schemas, stored procedures, and views using advanced SQL techniques.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure sub-second response times under high load conditions.
- ETL & Data Integration: Lead end-to-end ETL processes, ensuring seamless data migration and integration between disparate systems.
- Collaboration: Partner with Data Scientists and Backend Engineers to define data requirements and ensure data quality standards.
- Security & Compliance: Implement strict database security protocols and ensure compliance with financial data regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or Database Administrator.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL) and T-SQL/PL-SQL.
- Optimization: Proven track record of performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Architecture: Strong understanding of database normalization, data warehousing, and ETL architecture.
- Tools: Proficiency with modern data tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, dbt) and version control (Git).
