Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable architecture for autonomous navigation and decision-making systems.
- Lead the research and development of novel machine learning models tailored for real-world physical environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, safety analysts, and product managers.
- Ensure system reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Define technical roadmaps and make strategic decisions regarding technology stack and tooling.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in autonomous systems or robotics.
- Proven experience designing complex systems at scale, preferably in a high-stakes environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and relevant frameworks such as ROS, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, sensor fusion, and SLAM technologies.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing engineering teams.
