Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions for our client-facing platforms.
- Night Operations: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and execute maintenance tasks during the night shift to ensure zero downtime.
- Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code; participate in rigorous code reviews.
- Agile Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and QA Engineers in daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical bugs and performance bottlenecks in real-time.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation and operational runbooks.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js. Experience with AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
- Availability: Must be available to work a night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM PST).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for a remote-first or hybrid team environment.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
