Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust, scalable software solutions using modern technologies and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead code reviews and establish best practices for code quality, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues, debug code, and optimize application performance for speed and efficiency.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical growth.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies to ensure our stack remains cutting-edge.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend technologies.
- Proficiency in Python or Java, along with experience in modern frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, or Spring).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges independently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid/remote-first environment in New York.
