Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of robust, high-performance software applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver features that delight our users and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement scalable software solutions using modern programming languages (Java, Python, or Node.js).
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while conducting thorough code reviews.
- System Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and implement performance improvements.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Problem Solving: Debug complex issues and troubleshoot production incidents with urgency and precision.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in at least two of the following: JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, or Java.
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is highly desired.
- Database: Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Agile: Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
