Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Node.js, Python, and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and AWS infrastructure management
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across 50+ repositories
- Monitor system performance using Datadog and implement proactive optimizations
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders and clients
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python
- Strong AWS/Azure architecture and Terraform experience
- Proven track record with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience mentoring engineering teams of 3+ developers
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable system designs
