Responsibilities
- Lead development of high-transaction microservices
- Optimize API performance for 10M+ daily users
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Collaborate with product teams on sprint planning
- Resolve critical production issues with SLA ownership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
- Strong AWS/GCP cloud architecture skills
- Proven track record of scaling web applications
- Experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design
