Responsibilities
- Architect scalable backend services using Python/Go and AWS infrastructure
- Lead API development and optimization for high-traffic applications
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment strategies
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Drive DevOps initiatives including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with Python/Go
- Expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Strong AWS/GCP experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of shipping production-ready code
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
