Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Terraform and Ansible
- Automate deployment pipelines with Jenkins/GitLab CI and Kubernetes orchestration
- Monitor system performance using Prometheus/Grafana and implement proactive alerting
- Lead security compliance initiatives including SOC 2 and HIPAA requirements
- Mentor DevOps specialists and conduct architecture reviews
- Optimize cloud spend while maintaining 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with SRE teams to build resilient microservices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills in Python/Bash/Go
- Kubernetes certification (CKA/CKAD) or equivalent experience
- Proven track record with CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman)
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
