Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance microservices using Go and Python
- Lead design sessions for real-time trading platform features
- Optimize database queries and system performance for 99.99% uptime
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical blog publications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with cloud-native applications
- Expertise in distributed systems and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with financial systems or high-frequency trading platforms preferred
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with track record of shipping production systems
