Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle software development using Java, Python, and AWS cloud services
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with 99.9% uptime SLA
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize database performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct security audits and ensure PCI compliance for financial applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills with system design experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
