Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of microservices using Go and Python
- Optimize AWS infrastructure for 99.99% uptime and cost efficiency
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Terraform
- Collaborate with product team to define technical requirements
- Conduct quarterly architecture reviews and performance tuning
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in Go, Python, and AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker orchestration
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design focus
