Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Implement real-time fraud detection algorithms with machine learning models
- Optimize API performance for 99.99% uptime and sub-100ms latency
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Drive DevOps initiatives including CI/CD pipeline automation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent TechNova at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go or similar compiled languages
- Expertise in distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native deployment
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong background in database design (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) and caching strategies
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and service mesh technologies
- Track record of shipping production systems with high scalability requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
