Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Python, Go, and Node.js
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with cloud-native systems
- Expertise in distributed systems and RESTful API design
- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Strong understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with payment processing or fintech systems preferred
