Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture for transaction processing systems
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Optimize API performance for 99.99% uptime across 10M+ daily transactions
- Lead cloud migration projects on AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proven experience with distributed systems and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Strong background in fintech or payment processing systems
- AWS/GCP certification preferred
- Ability to obtain DoD clearance if required
