The Role:
In this high-visibility role, you will be responsible for optimizing web properties to achieve top rankings on major search engines. You will collaborate closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure a holistic approach to digital visibility.
Responsibilities
- Technical SEO Mastery: Conduct in-depth audits to identify crawl errors, site speed issues, and schema markup opportunities to improve site health and user experience.
- Keyword Strategy: Lead the research and identification of high-value, low-competition keywords to drive targeted organic traffic.
- Content Optimization: Partner with content teams to develop SEO-friendly articles, landing pages, and blog posts that resonate with users and rank well.
- Link Building: Develop and execute white-hat link building campaigns to increase domain authority and referral traffic.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor performance metrics using Google Analytics and Search Console; generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to demonstrate ROI and key insights.
- Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates to adjust strategies proactively.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on technical SEO and content strategy.
- Tools: Proficient in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Moz.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics; familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
