Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and drive qualified traffic.
- Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits and implement improvements to site architecture, crawlability, and indexing.
- Lead content strategy initiatives, collaborating with writers to optimize for semantic search and user intent.
- Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and proprietary tools to report on ROI and KPIs.
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates, particularly those related to AI and voice search, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Build high-quality backlinks and manage off-page SEO campaigns.
- Train and mentor junior marketing staff on SEO best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in SEO, with a focus on technical and content strategy.
- Deep understanding of Google's core updates, E-E-A-T principles, and modern search algorithms.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for on-page optimization.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Moz.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AI-powered SEO tools (e.g., MarketMuse, SurferSEO) is a plus.
