Role Overview
As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will lead our organic search initiatives. You will collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketers to craft strategies that boost visibility, drive qualified traffic, and increase conversions. You will be responsible for technical audits, keyword research, and reporting on performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Technical SEO Audits: Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify and fix crawl errors, broken links, and site speed issues to improve core web vitals.
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute data-driven SEO strategies aligned with business goals to improve search engine rankings for target keywords.
- Content Optimization: Partner with content teams to optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, and body copy for maximum SEO impact.
- Link Building: Execute off-page SEO strategies, including outreach and relationship building with high-quality publishers for backlink acquisition.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) using Google Analytics and Search Console; provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a track record of improving organic rankings and traffic growth.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture; familiarity with schema markup.
- Tools: Expert level proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical teams.
