Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical roadmap for quantum integration, specifically targeting key milestones for the 2026 product launch cycle.
- System Architecture: Design hybrid quantum-classical systems that leverage quantum supremacy for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning workloads.
- Prototype Development: Lead the hands-on development of experimental quantum processors and error correction protocols.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of physicists, software engineers, and hardware specialists.
- Collaboration: Partner with academic institutions and industry partners to stay at the forefront of quantum advancements.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in high-level systems architecture, with at least 3 years specifically in quantum computing, quantum error correction, or superconducting qubit technology.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and Q#; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and quantum simulators.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems in a research and development environment.
- Vision: Strong ability to translate theoretical research into practical, scalable engineering solutions.
