Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Algorithms: Design and implement novel quantum algorithms to solve complex optimization and simulation problems.
- Optimize for NISQ: Engineer software solutions that are resilient to noise and optimized for current Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) devices.
- Hardware-Software Co-Design: Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to maximize the performance of our quantum processors.
- Error Mitigation Frameworks: Develop advanced error correction and mitigation techniques to improve qubit fidelity.
- Research Publication: Contribute to peer-reviewed research and present findings at top-tier quantum computing conferences.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Mathematical Maturity: Strong command of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex numbers.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubit architectures.
