Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of current legacy systems to identify vulnerabilities susceptible to quantum attacks.
- Design and implement quantum-resistant algorithms and cryptographic protocols for enterprise data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-ready components into existing software architectures.
- Develop and maintain roadmaps for the migration of critical infrastructure from classical to post-quantum systems.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on the principles of quantum computing and security.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum hardware and software to anticipate future architectural needs.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or cryptography.
- Deep understanding of public-key cryptography, lattice-based cryptography, or hash-based signatures.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Rust.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
