Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives for 2026 technology roadmap, identifying disruptive trends across AI, biotech, and quantum domains
- Develop patent-pending innovation frameworks that merge academic research with commercial applications
- Chair the FutureTech Council, coordinating 50+ global research partners and $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Architect moonshot projects including quantum-resistant encryption and carbon-negative AI systems
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board members, securing $10M+ innovation grants
- Mentor cross-functional 'Future Pods' of engineers, designers, and domain experts
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology with 10+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful exits/patents)
- Deep expertise in exponential technology trends (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional stakeholder management with Fortune 500 executives and academic institutions
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience managing >$20M R&D budgets and 50+ person innovation teams
