Job Description
Are you ready to define the user experience for the next evolution of computing? As a Senior Quantum Interface Architect at Aether Dynamics, you won't just build software; you will sculpt the way humans interact with the quantum internet. In this pivotal role, you will lead the visual and functional design of interfaces that translate complex quantum data into intuitive, human-centric experiences for 2026 and beyond.
We are looking for a visionary designer who thrives at the intersection of art, science, and technology. You will bridge the gap between abstract quantum algorithms and the end-user, ensuring our platforms are accessible, stunning, and revolutionary.
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the design of high-fidelity, spatial interfaces for next-generation quantum computing platforms.
- Translate complex quantum mechanics concepts into user-friendly visual metaphors and interaction models.
- Collaborate closely with quantum physicists and AI researchers to inform design decisions based on technical feasibility.
- Establish and evangelize design systems that ensure consistency across all future-facing products.
- Mentor a team of junior designers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and rapid prototyping.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design hypotheses in simulated metaverse environments.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating advanced spatial computing or AR/VR work.
- Deep understanding of quantum computing principles and the ability to conceptualize interfaces for quantum hardware.
- Expert proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Blender) and frontend technologies (Three.js, React, WebGL).
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex design rationales to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
