Job Description
We are at the precipice of a technological singularity. Nexus Horizon Labs is seeking a visionary Senior Quantum AI Architect to spearhead our Year 2026 strategic initiative.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between classical machine learning and quantum computing, designing the infrastructure that will define the future of data processing. You will work in a high-velocity environment where innovation is not just encouraged—it is the standard.
The Opportunity
As we prepare for the Year 2026 rollout, we need a leader who can architect scalable, fault-tolerant quantum systems. You will collaborate with top-tier researchers to develop algorithms that push the boundaries of what is computationally possible.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement next-generation quantum algorithms tailored for generative AI and optimization tasks.
- Lead the technical roadmap for the Year 2026 quantum infrastructure migration.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize quantum circuit execution speed and error correction.
- Mentor a team of junior researchers and software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Translate complex quantum concepts into strategic business value for executive stakeholders.
- Conduct rigorous research into emerging quantum hardware trends to stay ahead of the industry curve.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years specifically in quantum computing or advanced AI.
- Expert proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and convex optimization.
- Experience deploying models on cloud-based quantum simulators (IBM Quantum Experience, AWS Braket, or Google Cirq).
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing cross-functional technical teams.
