Responsibilities
- Code Maintenance & Optimization: Lead the maintenance and optimization of large-scale Python 3.6 applications, ensuring maximum performance and stability.
- Legacy Modernization: Collaborate with the engineering team to refactor legacy code into more maintainable, modern Python standards.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, secure, and efficient backend solutions using Python 3.6 best practices.
- Code Reviews: Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to style guides, and security standards.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- CI/CD Implementation: Enhance and manage our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Python 3.6.
- Backend Frameworks: Proficiency in Django or Flask.
- Database Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM tools.
- Version Control: Advanced proficiency in Git and Git workflows.
- Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS or Azure services and containerization tools like Docker.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
