Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members to foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Risk & Scope Control: Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently manage project budgets and resources to maximize ROI.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet rigorous quality standards and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the government or consulting sector.
- Certification: PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana) and agile methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to executive leadership.
- Location: Must be willing to work in our Washington, DC office (Hybrid/On-site required).
