Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Execution: Oversee the end-to-life cycle of critical infrastructure projects, including network deployment, IoT integration, and cybersecurity upgrades across multiple venues.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical architects, government officials, and broadcast partners, to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Resource & Budget Control: Manage project budgets and allocate resources efficiently to ensure cost-effective delivery without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop comprehensive risk management strategies to identify potential disruptions and implement proactive solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all technical implementations adhere strictly to local, state, and federal regulations regarding telecommunications and data privacy.
- Legacy Planning: Design infrastructure solutions that leave a lasting digital legacy for the host cities beyond the tournament.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management within the technology, telecommunications, or large-scale event sectors.
- Certifications: PMP or Prince2 certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of 5G networks, cloud architectures, and smart city infrastructure.
- Track Record: Proven history of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon for executive stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
