Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable neural processing units (NPUs) optimized for real-time data transmission.
- Develop advanced signal processing algorithms to decode and encode neural signals with < 5ms latency.
- Collaborate with neuroscientists to refine the 2026 cognitive roadmap and translate biological signals into actionable code.
- Optimize existing firmware for next-gen hardware integration, ensuring stability under extreme cognitive loads.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in ethical AI and neural engineering best practices.
- Conduct rigorous stress-testing of neural interfaces in simulated environments before deployment.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems, signal processing, or machine learning.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and CUDA.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and hardware-software integration.
- Strong understanding of neural networks, deep learning, and brain-computer interface architectures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (Top Secret/SCI).
