Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced manufacturing processes for aerospace components
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production bottlenecks
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation and quality standards
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
- Manage capital equipment projects from conception to installation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Strong proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
- Experience with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, NADCAP)
- Demonstrated project leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- US citizenship required for government contracts
