Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Lead network security implementations and compliance audits (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Optimize system performance using automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for 24/7 incident response
- Mentor junior engineers and drive DevOps best practices
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement
- Develop disaster recovery plans with quarterly testing protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure with 3+ years cloud specialization
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Active CISSP or CCNP certification required
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) methodologies
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
