Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology foresight frameworks through trend analysis and scenario planning
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies including AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board committees
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors impacting technology adoption timelines
- Champion innovation culture by identifying emerging talent and partnership opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of publishing influential foresight research or industry reports
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience facilitating C-level strategic planning sessions
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact of future-oriented recommendations
