- Present trend analysis and strategic recommendations to executive board quarterly
- Author 'Future State' white papers influencing industry standards
- Manage $2M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial IP or market entry strategies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Delphi method, causal layered analysis, STEEP)
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
