Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, neural interfaces) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts to prototype future-forward solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to secure first-mover advantages
- Present compelling technology visions to C-suite executives and investors to secure funding and buy-in
- Monitor global tech policy and ethical frameworks to ensure responsible innovation leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with demonstrable impact on future-tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI development
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 5+ year market horizons
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding or government grants
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
