- Translate future insights into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present future-state briefings to executive leadership and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation governance protocols
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies with proven track record of market impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on tech disruption (papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, backcasting)
- Experience building innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
