Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Develop and publish quarterly futurist reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for executive teams and key stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions and market test concepts
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Present foresight insights to investors, clients, and industry conferences
- Integrate future scenarios into product roadmaps and business development strategies
Qualifications
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial impact
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-level audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, books, keynotes)
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder ecosystems
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-back strategy implementation
