Responsibilities
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in forecasting and developing 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Architect strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and DARPA to accelerate innovation cycles
- Translate theoretical research into commercial applications with 18-24 month deployment timelines
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite executives and venture capital partners through immersive AR/VR presentations
- Oversee $50M R&D budget allocation for exponential technology incubation
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary foresight methodology
- Author thought leadership publications in Nature Futures and TechCrunch 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Futurology, Systems Theory, or equivalent transdisciplinary field with 8+ years of strategic innovation experience
- Proven track record of commercializing exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Deep expertise in scenario planning, causal inference modeling, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published research in top-tier journals (Science, Nature Futures) or equivalent industry impact
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience securing federal grants (NSF, IARPA) and private funding for moonshot projects
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three deployed innovations with >$100M market impact
