Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and sustainability domains
- Develop innovation roadmaps with 5-7 year strategic projections for global markets
- Facilitate C-level workshops on emerging technology disruption and adaptation strategies
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business opportunities
- Author thought leadership reports and presentations for investor and stakeholder audiences
- Oversee experimental innovation projects with $2M+ annual budgets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption (portfolio of published forecasts required)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend impact modeling methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, synthetic biology, quantum systems)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and change
- Published author or speaker at global innovation forums (WFS, TTI/Vanguard)
