Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Scopes' identifying disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen business models and product roadmaps
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate resilience, neurotech integration) for strategic implications
- Design and implement innovation frameworks for long-term portfolio development
- Present future scenario briefings to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech incubators
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's future-thinking capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or equivalent technical field
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
