Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, and economic domains to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop and publish strategic foresight frameworks and innovation roadmaps for C-suite stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and corporate strategy
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies with measurable ROI
- Present compelling future narratives to executive teams and board members
- Oversee the creation of proprietary foresight tools and methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Published author or thought leader in futures/innovation publications
- Experience leading cross-cultural, interdisciplinary teams in global contexts
