Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, and economic domains to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026+ market projections and organizational goals
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author compelling future scenario reports and innovation briefs for stakeholder decision-making
- Oversee implementation of pilot programs for emerging technologies and business models
- Mentor cross-functional teams in strategic foresight methodologies and future thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in developing and implementing innovation strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through digital transformation initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, journals, conferences)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method, backcasting)
