Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological, economic, and social trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks to mitigate risks and capitalize on emerging markets
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-generation solutions
- Present strategic foresight insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) within organizational strategy
- Mentor junior futurists and establish best practices in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of translating complex trends into actionable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in Futures or Innovation Management (e.g., APF, CFIP) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic innovations
