- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions targeting 2026 launch
- Establish global think tank networks to identify emerging innovation signals
- Represent company at World Economic Forum and futurist conferences
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
