Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight frameworks through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Produce executive-level trend reports and whitepapers on emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Design and implement early-warning systems for disruptive market shifts and regulatory changes
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions aligned with long-term vision
- Represent the organization at global futurism conferences and industry symposia
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic vision documents
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
