Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Produce high-impact strategic reports and visualizations for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to track emerging scientific breakthroughs
- Design and implement innovation incubation programs for 2026-relevant technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight capability within the organization
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and influence long-term corporate strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful commercial initiatives
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis tools
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through strategic transformation initiatives
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
