Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, integrating AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging opportunities and disruptors
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype scalable solutions with 5+ year impact
- Present strategic foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for high-potential speculative projects
- Establish partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global innovation labs
- Mentor a team of junior futurists and innovation strategists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of scaling speculative concepts to commercial viability
- Expertise in AI/ML, biotech convergence, or climate tech disruption
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning and probabilistic modeling frameworks
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences globally
