Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Vision Strategy, identifying disruptive technologies and societal trends with 5-7 year foresight
- Lead cross-functional Future Councils to synthesize insights from AI, biotechnology, quantum computing, and sustainability domains
- Author high-impact foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-vision into roadmaps for IoT, autonomous systems, and neural interfaces
- Represent Nexus at global futurist forums, publishing thought leadership in top-tier industry publications
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability with predictive analytics infrastructure
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking experience at global forums
- Published author in futures research or innovation thought leadership
