Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight framework through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Produce strategic white papers and scenario-planning models for executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other innovation ecosystems
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation analysts while maintaining thought leadership through keynote speaking
- Translate future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps with engineering and product teams
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on emerging technology impacts (peer-reviewed journals or conferences)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and technology roadmapping
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prediction of market shifts (2008 crisis, AI boom, etc.)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Polymath) and data visualization platforms
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to C-suite audiences
