Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to map emerging technology trends through 2026
- Develop and publish annual 'Future Horizons' reports on disruptive innovations
- Design and execute scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology roadmaps with long-term business objectives
- Establish cross-industry alliances with research institutions and innovation labs
- Curate and lead immersive 'Future Vision' workshops for stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their implications for organizational strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, technology innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of published research on emerging tech trends (peer-reviewed journals)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile innovation environments
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Boston, Shenzhen)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
